Tresemme – Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot
I received this new Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot from Tresemme in my August Glossybox. Tresemme isn’t a brand I would normally choose, but this little tube reminded me a bit of the VO5 Hot Oil Treatments that were popular some years ago and I was intrigued to try it out.
This Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot aims to smooth and hydrate the hair and to make it easier to style. You apply the deep conditioning product after shampooing mainly to the mid-lengths and the ends of your hair, and then leave it on for 60 seconds before rinsing off. Tresemme recommend using this Treatment Shot once a week, and I have found that one tube will last for 2 applications as long as your hair isn’t too long, you just reinsert the long pointy end of the torn-off nozzle into the hole to re-seal the tube.
So what about the results? I can’t say I found this to be a miracle product, it’s just a good deep conditioning treatment and left my hair feeling quite soft and smooth. It would be a good treatment to use before going on holiday to a hot country (or even whilst ON holiday if you are a victim of the dreaded ‘humidity frizz’).
Keratin Smooth 60 Second Treatment Shot is priced at £1.49. I am struggling to find where this is currently available online, but have been informed that it has been stocked in supermarkets and good beauty shops since it was launched at the end of July 2013.
