               |Batiste Dry Shampoo – Light & Blonde|

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years you can’t fail to have noticed the revival that Batiste Dry Shampoo is having. This lifesaver product means you can revive and refresh hair without having to wash it. I have already reviewed the ‘Clean and Classic Original’ variety (read that review here), now it’s time to review the Light & Blonde version.

Batiste Dry Shampoo works by absorbing the oil on the surface of the hair, you just spray it sparingly over dry hair and then style as normal - only make sure you don’t apply too much though as it can leave hair looking a bit ‘talcy’. The Light & Blonde version has been developed for blonde hair and gives a hint of blonde colour. I don’t feel really that it is too different from the Original version as that is really pale too, but I can imagine that if you have dark hair you would be better off using one of the darker coloured versions rather than have white streaks through your hair from using the Original version.

The only downside with Batiste Dry Shampoo is that the spray is rather violent and loud (and scares my cats!), I would prefer a more gentle spray like you get from a hairspray can.

I love the retro design on the can and the logo. Batiste Dry Shampoo is great for texturizing my hair if I want to do an up-do, I find that my freshly washed hair is too soft and will fall out of an up-do, but this gives it a bit of ‘grip’ and staying power. It also gives limp hair a bit of extra body – just spray over the entire head and then tip head upside-down and ruffle hair with fingers.
