|MY DIY | Faux Bow Clutch|

I am such a fan of this heart transfer material (remember when I used it on these pillows?) and after seeing the Kate Spade clutches at Fashion Week, I wanted to give this gold bag I had in my closet a makeover. Cutting your shape from the iron-on material could not be easier, and my trusty Rowenta Travel Iron's small size worked perfectly to adhere the material without melting the faux leather surface.
In 30 min flat, I had a new clutch that I love! It's perfect for a night out on the town! Steps after the break...

WHAT YOU NEED:
Clutch
Scissors
Sharpie
Wax paper

HOW TO:
First, trace the shape of your clutch on the top side (shiny side) of your iron on material.
Cut out that shape.
Next draw a square in the middle, and diagonal lines out to each corner to create your bow. You can use a ruler for straight lines.
Cut out the bow shape. I cut out the square separately, becauce I wanted a little space, but this is optional.
Next put in place on your clutch, shiny side up, then lay a piece of wax paper on top and iron on the transfer.
Lastly,  pull of the shiny material to reveal your new bow clutch!
