|My Bedside Table Beauty Must Haves|
Hi guys, so I don’t know about you, but tucked away in my bed side table are lots of my current, can’t live without beauty products I like to put on whilst i’m getting ready for (or sometimes am in) bed.
These items are more of the restorative, variety rather than the make up variety! (obviously as the latter would be slightly pointless!) So I thought I would share them with you, and give you a little break down of each product below!
Tisserand Sweet Dream Aromatherapy Roller ball
This 100% natural blend of lavender essential oils helps to relax and aid sleep. I’ve been having major trouble sleeping lately! and have been trying a couple of natural remedies to help. I apply this to my temples, wrists and some times my pillow. I’ve always liked using a lavender based product at night as I just find it really soothing. I haven’t noticed that it’s helping my get to sleep any quicker, but hey it’s not a miracle product! I have noticed though, that when I feel a bit more tired and I use it, it helps me relax that be more and is comforting as I go to sleep
The Body Shop 100% Natural Lip Roll On – Orange
Yes! another Roller ball! I love these and have just bought the berry one too! (although i’m trying to use up this one first!) I love the scent, it’s very refreshing, maybe not the best for bed time, but I find myself reaching for this in the morning’s as well. It’s quite an oily product (but in a good way) and I like to apply it just before bed or, like I said in the morning about 15 minutes before applying my makeup. It’s pretty much absorbed into my lips by then so leaves them feeling soft and ready for applying my lipstick.
Sally Hansen Nail Hardener
I have incredibly brittle nails from years of have acrylics, but lately they’ve been feeling a lot stronger and have been growing! yay! I’m not sure if it’s down to this as I haven’t been using it that long. But I’ve been using it a couple of times a week and applying it makes me feel like I’m caring for my nails more! It also gives them a lovely shine!

Wearing Sally Hansen Nail Hardener (they’re growing!)
Origins Super Spot Remover
I’ve spoken about this amazing little product in videos before, but I seriously wouldn’t be without it now. I don’t have the best skin, but whenever a pesky spot pops up, I apply this and it almost instantly helps to reduce the inflammation. It doesn’t totally ‘remove’ the spot in my case but it definitely makes a difference. The only problem I find is that it’s quite drying, so I have to be sure to balance using this with a moisturiser too, as dry skin can cause even more spots as your skin tries to compensate and creates more sebum and so the cycle goes on and on!
Elizabeth Arden Skin Balancing Night Cream *
I was sent this to try a few months back and I really fell in love with it. The one I use is for combination skin which really helps with the dryness issue as it keeps my skin hydrated in the areas in which the skin is quite dry, but it doesn’t make the rest of my face oily.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream
I got this for Christmas which I was very excited about as I had heard such good things for so long! (I can’t believe I didn’t try it earlier!) I am constantly reaching for this to apply to my hands, elbows, basically any areas of super dryness caused by the amazing (not) weather we’re currently having! I’ve also been using it on my lips as well, I’m not sure if this one is for that as I know there is a lip version available, but it’s been working so far!
Bach Rescue Remedy Night
Again I’ve been trying this for the sleep thing! I used rescue remedy products a lot when I was a bit younger for the times when my anxiety was pretty bad, They also do pastels as well as a number of different products for relaxation but I thought I would try the night version. It comes with a dropper and you simply drop 4 drops onto your tongue. Again I won’t lie and say it’s sent me straight off to sleep, and I’ve never been totally convinced that rescue remedy doesn’t just create a placebo effect, but I do feel slightly more relaxed after taking it and I will continue to try this to see if it can help me further.
Origins GinZing Eye Cream
Again this is one I tend to reach for before applying my makeup in the morning, as it helps to hydrate and depuff your eyes, so is a slight waste during the night, but, even though it’s aimed at refreshing the eyes it feels really nourishing, so since this is currently the only eye cream I use and I haven’t yet felt the need to invest in a night time specific one, I tend to use it at night too!
So That’s everything I’m currently loving! What’s in your bedside table? if you’ve done a similar post then be sure to give me the link! (i’m nosey like that!)
Lots of love
