                                 Caudalie’s Gradual Glow

IMG_4245
I suppose I’m one of those addicts that think they always look better with a tan (but it’s true). My body? Well that’s always got some sort of tan on it - arms, legs – the lot, which is usually lathered up in Xen Tan Dark Lotion Absolute Luxe FYI. My face? It stays well clear of the stuff for two reasons. The first being that fake tan normally clings to any strange patches like around my brows and the second being a fear of tan related breakouts.
At the risk of my face being a completely different colour to my body, I tried something new, Caudalie’s Teint Divine Self Tanner which lured me in by its non-commedogenic claims. Three separate applications (very haphazardly slapped on may I add) led to a beautiful sun kissed glow, nothing too orange, nothing too dark just the perfect touch of strolling along a beach.
In terms of application it’s not something I apply overnight, as that’s my skin repair time. During a weekly no-makeup day (everyone should have one – and if you don’t get on it) I’ll add a generous amount after moisturiser, over my face and neck and reapply twice throughout the day. No nasty smell, no orange hands, no streaks and no clinging to dry patches. Yes, yes and yes. In terms of breakouts and skin reactions so far there’s none around. It’s been a couple of weeks and hopefully if something was going to happen it would’ve by now.
Here we go, the first face self tanner that gets a thumbs up from me. Perhaps I should move onto their body care now? That seems like the natural progression. Caudalie’s Teint Divine Self Tanner is £16. 50
