Autograph Pure Colour Mousse Eyeshadow
These mousse shadows from Marks & Spencer are beautifully packaged and the colours are gorgeous (the colour swatches on the website are terrible though.. nothing like the actual shades).
If you’re going to compare them to other mousse shadows (Dior and Chanel, notably), the quality isn’t there.. you can see the pots are filled at the factory very randomly with no particular quality control. Compared to other mousses the execution is poor. However, that doesn’t mean you don’t have a workable product. You very much do.
The shades, Russet, Gold and Chocolate are such an autumn celebration; shimmery and smooth on the eye. Again, they aren’t the same quality as other mousses in that they’re more oily in texture so a primer is a must with these, but the effect is the same on the eye. You don’t need a lot of product on your brush and my advice would be to go very cautiously and build up rather than getting stuck in and hoping to blend out!
If you’re looking to join the moussy beauty trend and don’t want to shell out over £20, at £7.50, the Autograph Pure Colour Mousse Eyeshadows will do very nicely. Just don’t expect ultra-premium execution. You can find them HERE.
