Butter LONDON Lovin’

IMG_4074

Meet the nail brand that brings it across the board, from bright, pastels to glitters and don’t even start me on their nail care – because surprisingly that’s the best bit. The formulation is fantastic, two coats is all that’s needed for an opaque shade and with a top and base coat the lasting power is A*. Myinstagram over the past couple of weeks has now become a housing for my weekly Butter LONDON polish. Seeing as they always manages to get me drooling at the shade selection on a Boots browse and seeing as I’ve managed to pick up quite the collection I’ve now narrowed it down to my top three shades…

Fiver, a baby mint green with a shot of white going through it. Despite autumn weather it’s what I’ve been wearing on my nails at the moment, one of those can’t stop staring at your nails shade that’s just so darn pretty. Macbeth a vibrant orangey red that reminds me of CHANEL Holiday but better. Kerfuffle, a baby peachy pink. Think a more potent shade of a whishy washy french manicure colour.
In terms of their nailcare it’s really something special, their Handbag Holiday Cuticle Oil is the only remedy I’ve ever used that made a noticeable difference on my crusty cuticles in days. For strengthening nails I normally go for Dr Lewins but as a base coat it’s slightly too thick so Butter LONDON’s Horse Power Nail Fertiliser is the perfect thin consistency and helps polish not stain the nail. Now someone keep me away from the counter at Boots before my collection grows any bigger!
